THRUST REVERSAL performance
days
29.08. - 30.08.2008 |
SCHUBUMKEHR (thrust reversal) is a
function of braking of instances in air and in water. When chassis and
ground have contact the friction resistance of solid material
functions. Air and water on one hand - glowing brake discs on the other
hand. Performance as de-positioned movement (the German word
'ent-setzt' is derived from the verb 'entsetzt sein' which is generally
used for 'being appalled' but when set apart like that in its 2 parts
the compound word gets a second meaning: 'ent-'= de- and 'setzt'[part
again of 'GEsetzt'] = seated, placed, positioned). No resistance is pointless. In line with the years before we focussed our yearly theme by an additional presentation on the 29th and the 30th of August 2009. In 2008 "Bremsen" (braking) was merged to essential relations of location, time and room of human power of action by containment to the technical term 'Schubumkehr' (thrust reversal). Regarding of the present debate about mobility this approach becomes a special actuality. On Friday, the 29th of August 2008 between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m
As the place for the presentations served our EINSTELLUNGSRAUM together with the installation Antje Bromma, to brake and to fly, 2008. Dr. Johannes Lothar Schroeder moderated. Abstract: Dr. Johannes L. Schroeder. |
